Our Rifton-based crews carry the parts and the know-how to get your air moving again today. Same-day appointments available across Rifton and the surrounding zip codes.
Our Rifton dispatcher asks a few quick questions to gauge urgency and get you the fastest available window.
A licensed technician arrives, runs a full diagnostic, and explains exactly what's wrong in plain language.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC was built by technicians who got tired of watching homeowners get oversold. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. We carry the credentials Rifton inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, routine or emergency.
We know which neighborhoods run on older ductwork and which subdivisions were built with newer high-efficiency systems. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Trust in this industry gets eroded fast, and it takes real consistency to earn it back. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We track arrival windows, callback rates, and repeat-issue complaints internally so problems get caught before they become patterns, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Rifton is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Rifton rooftop unit. Our warranty and service history records stay attached to your address, so any future technician who visits already has the full picture.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Rifton properties actually need.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Rifton dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
Not every repair call ends in a repair — sometimes the honest recommendation is a properly sized replacement. We walk Rifton homeowners through financing and rebate options where available before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
We protect floors and entryways during the install and haul away the old equipment so you're not left dealing with disposal.
Commercial equipment operates differently than a residential unit, and it needs technicians who actually understand rooftop packages and multi-zone systems. Our commercial division services light industrial and warehouse ventilation across Rifton, with priority response for facilities that can't afford downtime.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle duct cleaning and sealing to stop conditioned air from leaking into attics and crawlspaces for Rifton households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in Rifton get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
Guarantees only mean something if a company actually honors them, so here's exactly what ours covers.
Details vary by job type and are always shared upfront, never buried in fine print.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
A little attention to how your system is running can save you a lot of money and discomfort.
Ignoring new noises is one of the fastest ways to turn a small repair into a major one.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
Gradual efficiency loss is easy to miss month to month, but it adds up fast over a season.
Short cycling puts extra wear on the compressor and shortens the system's overall lifespan.
A burning smell should never be ignored — it can indicate an electrical issue that needs immediate attention.
We'll always tell you honestly when a repair is the better call versus when it isn't.
You'll know the cost before a wrench touches your system.
Emergency calls get moved to the front of the line automatically.
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.

After thousands of service calls across Rifton, a handful of causes show up again and again.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Simple habits between professional visits also matter. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.

A full system replacement is one of the bigger home expenses most people face, and we don't expect everyone to pay it in a single lump sum.
